Real Life...

Spring has gloriously brought back a slow pace of life...and this Clayton Crew is loving it, or at least this momma is ;)! I adore holiday and birthday season, but whew, it's nice to have break. So you may be wondering what my little munchkins are up to and we all know their cuteness never disappoints! So here it goes, a post full of random pictures captured on my iPhone of real life around here...

Girlfriend here loves her some dresses and sparkly shoes...
When Zoe gets excited about an outfit she has on she always asks for me to take her picture...little diva, ha! As I've noted before, Zoe is finally starting to interact with Max more rather than just trying to momma him like a baby...
recently, she has begun reading to him which is absolutely precious! Especially her reading since she just tells him all about what the pictures say :). Kason wants to always be a helper, doesn't matter the task. He was pretty pumped when dad let him assist one day while grilling...
On the rare days that we get to sleep in and turn off the alarms, you will always find Kason and Zoe sneaking into each others room to play or read together...
they don't come wake us up or run downstairs to the tv, nope, they love to spend their mornings together. As for Max, well he is still bringing joy to our lives especially when he crosses his arms to tell me in his language that he loves me...
Max is also pretty cool in letting his siblings catch a ride on his wheel chair a lot, especially when their fun-loving dad seizes an opportunity...
Giggles galore! As usual, Max is rockin' the school gig he has going on. He is using his gait trainer and walking up a storm and he's doing an incredible job trying to communicate with everyone. I've said this a million times before, but I seriously love his teacher and aides...they are AMAZING! I just adore how they agree with Daniel and I about including Max in everyday life and helping him have normal kid experiences. The other day in my inbox sat these pictures from class...
Eeeek! I know! They were hissing roaches and were grown in a lab, so they were clean not from a garage....but look at Max go! He is fascinated with animals. Of course all three munchkins have been playing up a storm as usual!
They don't really mind where they are, as long as they can let their wiggles out. But no matter what, parks never get old!
Especially if we can find one with a baby swing to let Max go "weeeee" as he says...
Thanks to the spring and the sun staying up longer, we've had more time to play outside with friends. You especially know you have incredible neighbors when they let your little lady decorate your entire hair with flowers!
You can't tell in this picture, but Mrs. Christy probably had fun finding hidden flowers all over her bun :). The spring has also brought us our first snow cone...whoop!
Love us some Bahama Bucks. The other night Zoe had Daddy/Daughter Desserts at her school which she was super proud of. She got all dressed up for her favorite fella...
Then took him to show off her class, artwork, and they made a kite together!
Little lady has also really been into tea time lately, so we have been practicing with water :).
She just loves to picnic and hang out with her babies...I adore her momma heart. Speaking of food, this girl will fight over a salad in a hot minute...haha!
She cracks me up whenever she knows I'm heading to the store because she gives me a LONG list of all her wants, oh you know normal 3 yr old stuff like carrots, celery, tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas, cheese sticks, yogurt...and it went on just like this for awhile. The other day I was so proud of Kason as he went to his first drop off birthday party, which doesn't seem like much but is a HUGE deal for his little anxious heart. He had a great time, but we hung out in Round Rock just to be near in case he freaked. Therefore we took the littles to Bass Pro Shop and taught Max how to fish...
He was pumped to spin the reel! Zoe on the other hand was mesmerized by the animals...
and was excited to get her growl on. Kason and Zoe are pretty stoked swim season is here and lessons have started. They are both doing awesome and I look forward to bringing my nice camera to show off their skills with you!
Max is still obsessed with both his daddy and keys...
I snapped this during worship one day because Max is in his happy place it is just captured my heart :). It has been raining a ton lately, so we have been getting creative with indoor play. The rascals always love tents and forts, so I set one up the other day for them. They stayed in there forever playing, reading, and writing in their journals...
I also took them to one of our favorite spots Lakeshore Learning to escape the house for a bit. I always love trying new things with Max to see what he can accomplish. He really enjoyed this quiet book that we did together...
While the other two made a greenhouse...
The store has a great spot that is carpeted where they have set out various items for the kids to explore. Max always heads towards the gears...
While the boys have been in school, Zoe and I tried out a new workout we heard about from a friend called Cosmic Kids Yoga...
Oh my word...so much fun! They tell a story while doing yoga...we had a great time together.
Man, I just adore this crew! They have my heart and my smiles always. So thankful for this blessed life that God has given us. So thankful for the ability to have so much time to spend enjoying their childhood together.
