Chalkboard Themed Bridal Brunch/Lingerie Shower...

The day before the wedding I helped throw a combination Bridal Brunch and Lingerie Shower for the bride-to-be, Allison. Dianna (my mother-in-law) and Michelle (my sister-in-law) helped plan, design, and organize this chalkboard and wine themed shower...and boy did we have fun!
(Side note: I sure do love these two...I'm a lucky lady to have fabulous in-laws!!!) I digress...back on track now...Allison chose this really swanky joint in downtown Amarillo called Crush: Wine Bar and Deli.
Of course I could hardly wait to get my creativity flowing once we decided the theme, so once I designed the invitation based on the location we had our starting point. When guests first entered, they were welcomed with a precious sign...
Props to Keaton (bride's brother-in-law) for all his artistic work on the chalkboards throughout the shower...
Allison had a fantastic turn out, so setting up the table for around 25 was a treat!
Some of the corks were donated by family and friends which was a neat way to help personalize it for Allison since there were a few goodies for her to take home!
We reserved a spot for everyone, but most especially for our sexy lady...
Each place setting had a menu for them to circle what their choice was...
We had already wrote their names on the back, so this made service quick and easy without any complications or mix ups...plus it added a touch of fun :). The girls and I had cute sayings written around like "Eat, Drink, & Be Married"...
"You had me at Merlot"...
By the way, we ran out of room on the chalkboard sign but it should end by saying: Please feel free to enjoy a fizzy treat :). We set up a couple of stations around the room. One being a date jar...
where guests were able to write down an idea for the newlywed couple to pull from in the future.
There was also a Mimosa Bar because I'm not sure you could have a brunch without a Mimosa with this crowd :)...
Each lady was able to mix their own concoction and add a touch of fruit...
Of course we couldn't leave without a sweet, right?!?
The last station was the display and gift table.
It began a little sparse with a couple of goodies for Allison to take home like her last name initial made out of corks...
Props to Dianna for spending the tedious time she willingly gave to make this rockin' D out of corks...absolutely love it! Dianna also gave Allison and Nate four wine bottles for milestones during their first year of marriage...
Don't be too impressed, I just designed the labels, I didn't actually come up with the sayings :)...
By the end of the shower, the table turned into a fancy color palette...
I always love to throw a good party, but I especially love when I can do it with close girl friends...yes, I'm referring to my in-laws :)...but even on top of that, I enjoy doing it to watch the smile and the good time to the guest of honor always has...
In the middle is the fabulous bride-to-be, Daniel's cousin Allison...along with her sisters, Jenny and Emily, and their mother who we refer to as Aunt Debra. Loved spoiling these ladies and spending a few hours in good conversation and laughter!

*Shameless plug here :)...in case you aren't aware, I do own a design business for parties and events. I design invitations, party packs, announcements, christmas cards, wall art, logos, marketing kids...pretty much anything. I have been known to also provide lots of ideas (besides the prints) for the parties I design. Look me up on facebook, pinterest, or etsy by either Topsy Turvy Designs or Topsy Turvy Print Shop!
