Sea World...

My family (the Maddux side) is taking a family vacation to a Hill Country Resort in a few weeks and my parents plan on taking the cousins to Sea World. So, they went ahead and treated us to season passes so we can take the kids a few times since we live so close. In case you didn't know and live in the area, they are having a special promotion for kids under 5 getting season passes for free...so be sure to check it out! Therefore, Daniel and I decided we need to make a scouting trip...you know take one for the team :).
San Antonio is close enough for us to take a day trip, so we loaded up snacks and headed out. Kason is really into roller coasters, so he was straightening out as tall as possible to get on to any ride they would let him...
Of course, all he could talk about was getting on a water ride! He just wanted to get soaked...
He was a good sport and had fun riding the carousel with the littles...

although they weren't too pleased with it. That's right friends, the operator even had to stop the ride because poor Max was scared to death crying his little heart out. Two activities they all three could agree on were the shows and exhibits. We had fun checking out the penguins, dolphins, alligators, and sharks. Thankfully since school was still in, it wasn't too crowded so we didn't have to wait in any lines.
The kids really enjoyed Shamu, especially when he showed off with his splashing.

Although, I think the big hit of the day was the Bay of Play area for the little kids...
We were hoping to play in the aquatic side of the park, but it wasn't open yet for summer so this was the next best thing. There were a few areas of splash pads that all three were able to cool off with. I deem our first trip a success and our little fishes are already looking forward to showing off this cool park with their cousins...bring on summer vacation!
