Bringing Little Lady Home...

*Finishing Zoe's Adoption Story*
When Miss Zoe was finally released from the hospital, Daniel and I could hardly wait for her to meet the other little man in our lives who couldn't come to the hospital, Max! As you can see, he wasn't quite sure what to think about what was going on...
Of course Kason, was still beaming from the day before when he was able to hold Zoe and gush over her. We couldn't stop laughing when we sat down to try and take our first family of five picture...
because the craziness of three kids already began! Zoe has been an incredible baby, so getting adjusted with these three has been pretty easy...or maybe bringing home Max was such a difficult situation because of his medical issues, that adding Zoe to the mix didn't really add much stress. The first few weeks were fun because Mimi came to visit the day we came home from the hospital to meet Zoe and help out around the Clayton Casa...

then Doc joined in the fun later...
DB stopped by to love on our sweet baby girl...
and of course Pops had to drop in for a weekend visit to meet his first granddaughter...
When people weren't dropping in for visits, Zoe was a trooper while I tried to get her on a schedule and help ease her into playing with her brothers. Honestly, Max didn't really know a difference and still hasn't really interacted with her at all. I constantly put the two around each other to grab his attention, but he only notices the bright colors of her pacifier, clothes, blankets. I was so excited the day I took this picture because I thought Max was finally noticing little lady...
but it turned out that after I snapped the pic, he leaned over to confiscate her caterpillar wub-a-nub...little stinker! As for Kason, well this big brother can't stop adoring her...
He has been the most incredible big brother ever! There are times when I'm taking care of Max and if Zoe gets fussy, Kason will sing "Amazing Grace" to her while giving her the pacifier! He loves to read to her, give kisses, cuddles...basically anything to dote over her! As for me, what was I up to those first few weeks of her at home?
Well, I may or may not have enjoyed playing a little dress up...
and tried my hand at accessorizing my new little fashionista...
which after having boys, has been way too much fun!
I'm one proud momma to have these two handsome little men and a gorgeous little lady to call all mine! It is beautiful to see how God created our hearts to expand with an overwhelming amount of love for your children. Our family could not be more blessed to have Miss Zoe join our much loved home...we truly adore her!
