Kason had his final school field trip for the year last week at...
The zoo was a long drive to Waco (for a field trip), but it was well worth it. The place is small, but really pretty and very well kept...plus, this group of enthusiastic first graders had a blast!

and we linked up with other friends from his class for the day...
Let's just say spending a few hours with 7 year olds is hilarious...they are a a whole breed of their own. Not only are they silly and goofy and spunky and wild :)...but they love, love animals of all kinds!
So much so, that Kason kept pointing out which animals it was imperative that I take pictures of...haha! This blog only has a small sampling of those wished for animal shots :).
Of course no one should be surprised the the snake exhibit was the hands down winner for coolest spot in the zoo according to these fellas!
