Zoe's Secret Garden Tea Party...

For our special little lady's 3rd birthday, I had to get creative and find a way to fuse together three of Zoe's favorites: babies, tea parties, and Tinkerbell.
Therefore, we settled on a tea party with our babies in a secret fairy garden...
Let's just say I had a little too much fun planning and decorating for this one...oh yes friends, I went a bit overboard :)! We hand delivered special invites with a key for her friends to use to enter the secret garden...
Zoe's Secret Garden was absolutely stunning, so I have a bit of picture overload for you...
So in love with this antique blue tea set that was my great-grandmothers and the white tea set with pink flowers my sister and I gave my mom when we were little!
Each fairy friend that flitted over to join the fairy fun received her own wings...
magical wand...
and pixie dust!
The secret garden treats for the brunch included hedge hog donut holes, fairy berries in flower pots, acorns, bird nests, butterflies, and of course quaint tea sandwiches for tea time!
Rather than a cake, we went with mushroom cupcakes...
Zoe was adorably shy while her friends sang her happy birthday!

I set up left over food with bridge sets for all the fairy mommas who also joined the girly fun...
I think one of the most adorable parts of the tea party was watching all the little ladies drink their pink "tea" so dainty...
As a part of Zoe's Secret Garden, I also set up a tea party area for the little ladies to share with their babies...
I will share that it was a little sad that none of Zoe's friends wanted to actually participate in the tea parties with their babies. I'm guessing because older sisters were there who weren't as interested in pretend play so they went outside and of course all of Zoe's friends followed. The most precious thing happened though...Zoe could care less. She settled her baby into her high chair and started her own tea party completely oblivious...
it melted my momma heart! It brought a huge smile to my face to know that she was in her element and loving every moment of her party. I sat down to join her and then Nana took my place...
Sophie was excited and wanted to join in the tea party too!
There were a few moments here and there where some of the other fairies played with their babies or had their own tea party...
Overall, the party was a definite success in Zoe's eyes. She love, LOVED dressing up fancy, wearing my special jewelry from when I was her age, eating at a special place setting (with breakable dishes...eeek!), and sharing a tea party with family and friends!
After all the fairies left, I took Sadie and Zoe outside for a little pixie dust magic...
So thankful for all of our fairy friends who flitted over to celebrate our favorite little lady turning 3!

  2. Outstanding tea party in the garden! I am planning a get together at one of sober Seattle venues next week. Want to surprise my friend for her great success in a competitive exam. Hope she loves it and is showered with blessings.
