This week ended up being a doozy...this momma was a bit busy getting ready for the weekend. We tried to squeeze in a little summer fun to the mix :). Kason went to a basketball camp with his friend Jake, from church, in the mornings and of course loved every minute!
This basketball lovin', hoop shootin', little fella can't seem to get enough sports these days...
In the afternoons, we followed through with some of our weekly themes...
Make it Monday: Shrinky Dinks!
Do you remember shrinky dinks from when you were a kid?!? I knew Kason would have his mind blown with this activity and it didn't disappoint :). During nap time, Kason and I colored all the pieces together, then popped them in the oven...
This was definitely the exciting part for Kason to watch the shrinky dinks roll up, flatten out again, then shrink in size...
He had a great time putting together and playing with his monster lab...
Tabernacle Tuesday: Fruits of the Spirit
Momma failure here, I didn't have time to get an activity gathered to start the lessons so we sang our Fruits of the Spirits song and identified each spiritual fruit. Next week we will dive right in!
Wet Wednesday: Sponge Water Bombs
This warm weather is just calling our names for some wet fun!
Kason and I drew targets with sidewalk chalk then the kids took turns trying to wrack up the most points...
which of course eventually turned in to water bombing each other :).
Thinking Thursday: Was a no go this week!
Like I stated earlier, super busy week...but stay tuned for this weeks learning lab adventure.
Family Fun Friday: Wedding Weekend in Temple
These siblings had some extended family fun and a sibling sleepover during our weekend stay in Temple for Daniel's cousin's wedding.
