Since the boys had a three day weekend, we decided to meet up with Daniel's family at Nana and Pops house. We had birthdays to celebrate and catching up to do with each other :). The kids absolutely adore going to grandparents house, especially when cousins are there! We kicked off the weekend with a little trip around the lake on Nana and Pops new boat...
Even the wet weather wasn't going to hold this group back :)! All of us were pretty excited that the new boat can hold the entire family...
It was too chilly to get all the way in, but the kids still had fun splashing around and going fast...
It seems like forever since Daniel and I have been on the lake, so we were probably just as excited as our kids...
To be honest, I was a little worried with how Max would do since we never know how he will react in new situations. Super pumped to say that he did fabulous! At the beginning, he had to be held only by me while he was trying to process what was happening. Once he got comfortable, he was passed around from person to person exploring the boat...
Little lady was in love and in true diva style wanted to take charge...
While Kason was geeked that he got to do a little fishing...
Yes, the water looks a bit yucky because of all the rain...but we still had a great time spending a couple hours riding around. We spent the rest of the weekend hanging out at Nana and Pops playing...
The sun finally came out on Sunday afternoon which made for an evening of outside fun...
and a picnic with Nana!
Monday before we left, we celebrated Pop's birthday...
and the guys did a little fishing...
Zoe couldn't resist checking it all out...
This Clayton Crew had a relaxing weekend and is already looking forward to the next lake trip this summer...the boys are ready to get the skis wet!
