Valentine's Play Date...

On the first day of school, I invited four other moms over whose kids also started kindergarten for the first time, but still had other littles at home with them. From that first play date, we all meshed well with conversation to our littlest munchkins playing well together that we decided to meet monthly and rotate houses. Let me say that Zoe and I look forward to this group every time...we love them dearly! Today was our turn again, so we decided to throw in a bit of Valentine's fun to the mix. Of course, Zoe being in her "bow & dress" stage right now thought it necessary to look her best for her friends :)...
We do a little breakfast something each time that is always low key, so Zoe and I kept the theme going...
but splurging this time with bagels and smear...yum!
Of course we had a Zoe favorite, fruit, along with a special treat she hadn't tried yet...
I also thought it would be fun to have a Valentine craft for all the moms to create with their little loves...
With it being sick season, we sure missed two of our mommas and kids. In turn, it ended up being very calm and relaxing without as many munchkins running around. The craft probably turned out easier that way too...
We taped hearts to a burlap canvas and the girls used a pencil to create a dotted heart outline...
they were so sweet working...hmmm...with a little mom assistance of course ;)...
Absolutely loved how they turned out!
So thankful for these momma friends and moments to spend visiting about our kids, our lives, sharing silly stories, or sharing our hearts with one another. I also love that my little lady is building relationships with so many precious friends.
