Little Miss Sunshine's Party...

On Saturday, we had the joy of celebrating little lady's 2nd birthday with lemonade, sunshine, great friends, & family! The party was originally planned for Saturday morning by the pool, but we ended up picking a bad weekend and not very many people could make it. Therefore, Daniel and I decided to move it later in the day, grill burgers, eat cake, then head over to splash in the pool....it ended up being a lazy day and was absolutely perfect! I went ahead and set up Zoe's lemonade stand at our house...

Every morning when I go into Zoe's room I say, "Good morning Sunshine" and the kids and I sing You are My Sunshine almost daily...

so our little ray of sunshine's party theme was a no brainer this year!

We were able to sip on sunshine while making our own concoction of lemonade...

 by adding strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and/or mint!

Everyone enjoyed Daniel's amazing smoked burgers at a burger bar...

Then we treated ourselves to some seriously delicious cake (vanilla with a homemade buttercream frosting)!

Little Miss Sunshine was tickled to blow out her candles...

but I think even more tickled to conquer her very own slice!

Girlfriend meant serious business when it came to her one...no wait, two slices of cake! Since we had originally planned to be at the pool, I treated all the kids to a new pair of shades...

which was a huge hit!

All of the little ladies were stylin' in their retro accessories :)...

For the adults, I couldn't let them leave without taking a little lemonade for the road...

When the meal was over, we walked over to the pool (it is literally across the street from our house) for some fun in the sun!

My kids and their cousin Sadie absolutely LOVE swimming, so they were itching to splash around together...

We were so excited our neighbors (Tanner, Aaron, and Christy) who both Kason and Zoe adore could come hang out with us...

It was so much fun seeing all the grandparents get in and to splash around too!

Even though it may have been small in size, the party was an absolute blast!

The Clayton Crew was blessed to spend the evening with a few of their favorite people along with celebrating our very own Little Miss Sunshine...

Oh how we love and adore this little lady! A whole day doesn't seem sufficient enough to celebrate the amazing, spunky, giggly, mischief maker that you are...Happy 2nd Birthday Zoe Grace!
