Kason turned 4!

After a night of camping out, Kason woke up as a big 4 year old to a few of his favorites for breakfast!
We had cinnamon streusel muffins, fruit, yogurt, and a special treat he doesn't get often...cereal! He was able to spend the whole day playing with his grandparents, siblings, cousin Sadie...and then the boys helped him escape nap time by taking him to the Texas Tech basketball game! Before dinner he was spoiled with a few goodies...
Kason even had a special gift brought to him all the way from Disney world from Sadie...Mickey Mouse undies! Which if you know little man is just about perfect because he loves him some Mickey and undies :)! But, I do think both grandparents hit a home run on his gifts this year. Mimi and Doc outfitted Kason with Tball gear...
which he immediately had to put to practice...
One of my personal favorites of the day was when Doc helped coach Kason...
It brought back so many memories of Doc coaching me...it sure did my heart good! Kason's other special gift was homemade from Nana and Pops...
that is right...Kason got his first official "man child" (as he calls himself) workbench! You can see he was just a bit excited :)...
He already tells me about all the work he has to get done out there in the man cave (aka...garage)!
Although he has been slightly disappointed because he even got a few grown up tools to help on projects with Dad and he doesn't quite understand why he can't spend hours working by himself out there...why, yes...he does forget that he is 4, not 14! We ended the day celebrating both Kason and Daniel's birthday with oreo delights...
If you ask either one of these fellas their favorite dessert, oreos always takes the cake! Therefore, we had an oreo cake and oreo truffles with a cold jug of milk...mmm good! A big happy birthday to our little man turning 4...I already can't wait to see what this next year has in store for us with all his crazy antics!

  1. It was a fun weekend - thanks for letting us crash! It was quite funny watching Kason sleep in his tent & live in his baseball uniform the entire weekend :)
