4 Months Old...

and so much to share!
Max is officially 18 Weeks old and is still sending Daniel and I on a crazy adventure! A week and a half ago Max had to have a bi-lateral hernia repair surgery. I wasn't nervous about the surgery because it is routine, but I was nuts about...
him being put back on the vent! To be honest, this was the most anxious I have been during this entire four months...which sounds crazy considering everything we have went through with him. I was really worried that Max wouldn't come off the vent if he was put back on for a third time, but after 5 days of letting his lungs rest...
he was so ready to get that tube out that he nearly pulled it out on his own! He still doesn't stay awake for really long periods of time, but when he does he loves to look around (like above)...
and lounge in his bouncer. I think he is at the point where he is ready to have a change of scenery...he seems to get really tired of being in his bed all day. Max is also a super fussy baby which I don't blame him after all he has been through...I say that he just likes to tell us all about it, what all he has fought through. But, when we do finally get him to sleep...
he snoozes up a storm! Max is around 8 1/2 pounds now and is just as precious as ever...
I mean, do you see that precious little arm roll?
Aren't you just tempted to give it a squeeze or a smooch? I know I do everyday!
