What is Tooter up to these days?

I am sure you are wondering what our favorite one year old is up to...well...he is up to no good!
He is as cute as ever and he knows it. He is already trying to work the system!!! We are so proud of him because he is officially off the bottle and formula; our big boy is now on a sippy cup with whole milk.
We are enjoying ourselves playing especially on days like today when we get to go to outside and enjoy the beautiful sunshine at the park. After our trip to Frisco for Shaye's 30th Birthday weekend, we came to Conroe to visit my parents and check on my dad because he is having surgery on Tuesday...so we snuck off to catch some rays with the family.
He is still happy most of the time, but he is going through what I call "separation anxiety". He is at the age where he is afraid for Daniel and I to leave him anywhere, so he cries like crazy. This is really difficult for us because we want to just grab him and make a run for the door, but that doesn't help Kason work through this. He is also learning how to exercise those temper tantrums better with louder crying and they have extended from our home to the oh-so embarrassing public display. So maybe we should transfer our energy of praying for Kason (since he is doing so well) to his parents before we have bald spots on our heads as we learn how to cope with our own strong willed little toddler. And yes, for those of you who know how I was as a kid...I am already beginning to pay for what I put my parents through! As we have been told from our Occupational Therapist...preemies are the worst toddlers because the will, fight, and independence they had to stay alive in the NICU comes out even stronger and in full force when they become mobile. Therefore, I believe between the mixture of his genetic make up and his fighting spirit I think we should leave a weekly spot open at a spa for me and a golf course for Daniel!!!
Ah...my handsome fellas...oh how I adore them both!
