We are having more fun on our mini-vacay around Texas as we take the family loop. Our first stop was Frisco (where I belted some major tunes with Swift along with Shaye's 30th Birthday Brunch), then Conroe (to visit my family and check on my dad during his surgery), and our last stop is Bowie (made it last night to visit Daniel's family). Kason has discovered two firsts which I must delight you with...
First, Kason got to play on grass for the first time. Last spring/summer he was too young to play outside, and it has been too cold in Lubbock plus the grass is dead so he hasn't had the chance to crawl around. In Conroe we took him to my Dad's golf course and put him on the tee box...he didn't know what to think! He kept picking up his hand and shaking it after he would touch the grass.
Second, Kason has learned how to climb up things. No, he isn't walking yet...but yes, he is climbing! He learned how to climb our fireplace by himself, along with my sister's stairs, and now the recliner!!! My sister was sliding him down the front, then he would turn around and climb right up to her laughing the whole way.
If you notice, no hands are on him...Daniel and I think he might just be ready to go rock climbing!
You can see by the expression on his face that he was lovin' every minute of it...we couldn't get him to stop! Now the next pictures aren't a first because he loves mirrors, but I had to post them because they make me smile. Kason, as all babies, loves to look at himself in the mirror...
as well as kiss himself! So sweet...
Check back in a few days because I will inform you on what chunky monkey was up to in Bowie.

He is too cute for words! He does look remarkably pleased with himself after the climbing episode-- and rightly so. :)
