In the past few years Easter weekend has been a very busy for Daniel. Therefore, we don't usually get to spend the day together as a whole family. This year, our church did something different and it ended up being one of my favorite Easter's yet!
We got up super early for a sunrise service on the bridge in downtown Austin (minus the sun though). It was a little chilly, but the kids were excited to be there.
We worshiped together and feasted on breakfast tacos after.
We then came home for a bunny tail treat and to change clothes before heading out for a day of fun!
We went hiking...
followed by tacos at Radio (which are a personal favorite of mine)! We lazied around the house that afternoon and napped, before hitting the pool...
I love days of rejuvenation with my crew and this one topped the charts. It was exactly what Easter should be...a day celebrating our risen Lord with our family and friends!
