On Thursday, Kason had his first of many field trips too! Let's just say having both boys in school is oddly making me a busy momma :). Kason's class went to the Austin Aquarium. This is actually one spot we haven't hit up in Austin because we have been to a couple of really awesome ones and I've heard this one was pretty quaint. While it won't blow you away, there are some pretty fun features! Best part...
these silly boys loved it! While the aquarium is really small, the entire exhibit is very kid friendly. Each area is open for kids to get interactive with the animals by touching them and feeding them.
Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and did an excellent job sharing with the kids and making it a fun experience. Kason was willing and ready to touch all the animals, except the sting rays. For some reason, these little guys spooked him a bit. But after watching all his friends & his momma, he was finally courageous enough to reach out towards those slimy guys!
What a fun day under the sea together!
