Life's a Beach in San Diego...

Saturday and Sunday we spent the day exploring the gorgeous city of San Diego. I am so in love with this place! The beautiful vegetation, cool weather, and scenic views of the beach get me every time I visit. One of my favorite places is Coronado Island...
We perused around the dreamy, historic Hotel del Coronado that was built in 1888 before heading to walk around the beach.
Daniel found this perfect little grass area for the kids to run around and relax together soaking up the sun and breathing in the salty, ocean breeze.
We stopped in at the Bluewater Boathouse Grill that was built around the same time as the hotel to get our seafood grub on...
before catching a ride on the ferry back to San Diego.
After that, our crew toured Torrey Pines (so my dad could check out the golf course) and then drove around La Jolla beach. La Jolla is also one of mine and Daniel's favorites, but unfortunately with it being a summer weekend, it was packed and we couldn't find a spot to get out and look around. Sunday morning, we did visit La Jolla State Park where we walked a few trails...
with stunning views! We eventually said adios to San Diego before driving up the coast on Highway 1 to Orange County for some more fun in the sun!
