The last week before Christmas break was an insane, holiday craze of parties and programs. I sent Daniel off on a guy's ski trip with church buddies, and then called in the reinforcements to help me get through the week in one piece :). I know I would have been able to pull everything together like I always do somehow (must be the DP fuel!)...but I would have stayed up until 3:00 every night, I would have been over exhausted, scattered, and the week wouldn't nearly have been as much fun. These two grandmas came to the rescue and made the week a complete BLAST!!!
We had a girl's only week, baking together, running back and forth from schools (literally multiple times in a day), partying, making memories together...it was absolutely perfect. I imagine this is what it feels like to have family in town...it was so much fun. I kind of want to do it again...haha! I cannot thank these rockin' awesome grandmas for their big hearts who not only stepped right in and let me put them to work without complaining, but to also share in the joy of the holiday season with my little munchkins. We are beyond blessed and I relish it! So, let's get down to business and share all the pictures that captured the Christmas spirit at Zoe's school. Wednesday afternoon Zoe celebrated with her class by making crafts...
decorating cookies...
and of course one of her favorites...eating! That evening, her personal fan section...
smiled with glee as we watched her perform a Christmas program.
Zoe is normally super excited to be on stage, waving like she is a beauty pageant contestant...
but this time she was actually shy and timid...chewing on her pj's. She would peak our way every few minutes to smile or wave...and it was adorable.
Oh! We also had the pleasure of Aunt Michelle and Thane's company that week and supporting the kids in their Christmas programs!
Oh friends, the fun is only beginning...stay tuned for round two!
