Well, the Clayton Cuties are in full swing school mode. Our little family has a good routine and schedule that we follow weekly...and thankfully all three kids lOvE, LOVE their schools which makes this momma heart happy.
We stay pretty busy throughout the week since all three kids go to different schools: Kason goes a full five days a week, Max goes half days five days a week, and Zoe goes two days a week. I have pretty much been upgraded to full tax driver status :)...but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I'm loving life and my Clayton cuties!
Even through our hectic schedules, we still have time to sneak in a little family fun.
Therefore, I thought I would share what we've been up to the last month or so...that is besides school :). In August, Max started school two days before Kason, so I let the kids choose what they wanted to do those two days. On Monday, Kason and Zoe chose to use our free passes for bowling...
Zoe lost interest after a little bit, but I wasn't sure if I would be able to drag this guy away :)...
Kason loves to bowl! The next day, the kids chose to go swimming. Unfortunately I couldn't take them by myself as much this summer as the year before because Max has become a bit harder to watch...so they seized the opportunity. A lot of times (even in the summer), if you go early in the morning you have the whole pool to yourself. Kason was excited because that meant bringing a few goods to play with...
He was so funny practicing backing up the boat into the water just like his Pops does...
Notice how he even parked the truck on the side?!?
This is one thing that I love so much about Kason...he is so particular (always has been at a really young age) to pretend play EXACTLY like what he sees. It amazes me how much detail he observes and then mimics. As for middle of the week, when school lets out, we try to hit the outdoors after doing homework...
Oh yes, our kids are obsessed with their bikes...we may or may not have brainwashed them already :).
And there he goes again...
he has to "check" his bike out just like his bike mechanic loving dad! On weekends, we usually enjoy a movie night together, watch a little football...
enjoy the outdoors together by taking hikes...
or playing around scoping out new lakes, trails, and campsites...
*side note* our kids (Max included) have become expert rock throwers :). Austin has so many super fun places to explore...
that we can't resist checking them out! No worries, Mr. Max is there with us every step of the way...
he just unfortunately doesn't always make it into the pictures. One of my personal favorites is that we always enjoy a big breakfast together over the weekend...
heart pancake compliments of my adorable hubs. These Clayton cuties capture my heart on a daily basis...
I honestly look forward to waking up each day to see what these rambunctious munchkins have in store for us. They bring so much life and joy to our home that I can't help but capture all these moments of time into pictures so I can look back to remember how we soaked up our adventurous life together!
