Ride 'Em Cowboy!

The Clayton Rodeo was rough riden' this year at Halloween! We had our 8 second, fierce bull rider...
our darlin' barrel racer...
and our "all smiles" rodeo clown...
Since our littles are still young, I can still manage to coordinate everyone and have a blast doing it! Kason chose the theme this year which was all about cowboys. Daniel and Kason read Hank the Cowdog every night together, so Kason has been in a cowboy kick for awhile :). Thankfully we had almost everything already, so just a little sewing to authentic their costumes along with Mimi treating them to new cowboy hats!
A big shout out to our awesome daddy who made the barrel to go around Max's wheel chair...eeeek...I loved it (and so did he)! We met up with our favorite next door neighbor, the spooky ghost also known as Tanner...
and held on tight as the kids trick-or-treated around the neighborhood!
This was absolutely, hands down my favorite Halloween yet. For one, this was Max's first time to really dress up in a costume and actually join us for Halloween festivities. Also, our whole family loved spending the evening meeting our neighbors.
The adults of our neighborhood were incredible...they decorated porches, dressed up, and had just as much fun as the trick-or-treaters!
I was also so impressed with Kason by how brave he was...you friends know that he can definitely be shy at times around new people. He was having sooooo much fun with Tanner and Zoe, that he would walk right up by himself, knock on the door, and say "Trick or Treat" all by himself! We even wheeled Max up a couple of times...
I'm not sure if I have conveyed enough just how much we love our next door neighbors, the Tuckers! Aaron is so good with the boys and is always letting Kason come play with them...
while Christy is just a doll loving on all three kids, especially Mr. Max and little lady...
We walked around the neighborhood for a couple of hours before heading in to check out our loot...
 and Kason's vampire jack-o-lantern...
The Clayton Rodeo had a successful Halloween I would say. So much so, that Kason is already dreaming up what next year will look like :)! Hope your Halloween was just as terrifyingly fun as ours was!
