Cyclocross Addiction...

Confession time: the Clayton Crew is seriously addicted to Cyclocross racing!!! For the last three Saturdays we have slept in, packed up our bags for the day, and headed out to a race to cheer our favorite dad on!
When we get to the races, we set up our cheering crew station...
The races are at a park, so the kids love spending several hours playing outside with open fields just full of sticks :)...
and dirt of course...
Just love that she isn't afraid to get a little dirty...that's my girl!
As for Max, well this little guy just adores being outside in general...
especially, when he gets to crawl around and play with toys on the mat...
I will say that we need to get this little guy walking real soon since he has become Zoe's modeling head when she practices beauty shop :)...
These races provide us with a day to spend together as family, playing, soaking up the outdoors, and encouraging one another. We are also so fortunate to have friends there to spend time with like Adam who is actually racing in the pro division...
He always comes and hangs with us after his race. Then of course our favorite Uncle Kent...
and Aunt Debbie are there also. They are so sweet to stay after Kent's race to watch Daniel and even play with the kids...
There are loads of kids at the races who are riding the course in between races and are even participating in their kid divisions! I am already looking forward to Kason joining in next year. As for this year, he is content to race after dad cheering him on!
We usually come home after the race, but last Saturday the race was in San Antonio not far from the riverwalk. We couldn't resist stopping in at one of our favorite Mexican food joints...
especially when we were seated by the river! The kids loved every minute of the experience...
I know it won't be long until we are busy with the little rascals on Saturdays cheering them on, but for now...
you can find the crazy Clayton crew running around, covered in dirt, and cheering on our favorite cyclocross star!
