Little Lady Turns 2!

Oh how this little sassy diva has completely captured our hearts these last two years! Daniel and I could not even fathom the Clayton Crew without this ray of sunshine in our lives.
Zoe has definitely moved into the "toddler" stage of life these past few months as her birthday crept closer. She can definitely be a little bit of a mess at times. I often refer to her as our little firecracker! You can't let let that sweet smile or those big brown eyes fool you...
She is 100% diva and she knows it!
Zoe has most recently joined all girly girls everywhere and loves to doll herself up with accessories. Her new favorite (and mine too I might add) is bows!
I had to go through a mourning stage because she wouldn't wear bows for almost a year, but now that her hair is a bit longer she is absolutely LOVING playing beauty shop and is always asking for her "bo"...
This lady loves her baths and of course she prefers bubbles :)...
I mean, what gal doesn't? She just really enjoys water in general and adores when we take her to the pool. Our bathing beauty thinks it's loads of fun to dunk herself under water or soak up the sun on the side of the pool while splashing her legs...
In true little sister fashion, she follows her brothers around and simple adores them.
These two are quite the mischievous, giggle monster pair. They seem to always be getting into something together (if Kason doesn't tell on her first) or laughing up a storm during their silly antics. I truly believe her hero is bubba right now...she can't get enough of him. Zoe has turned into a little momma where it concerns Max. You can usually find her either patting his back telling him "it's ok Ma" or bringing him a toy to play with saying "here you go".
Although, like I've always said, they are way more like twins and fight quite a bit over toys too...which I secretly love because I think it's so good for Max to be treated normally and have sibling squabbles like the other two. Little lady is no exception to the Clayton adventurous spirit, she loves to be outside...
and wants to be involved in EVERYTHING. She is our little climber which is strange considering how timid she is at times. She is crazy independent right now and is always telling us, "No, I wanna do it". You will usually find her either stuffing her face which I believe is her favorite past time or begging for "mo, mo"...
What you won't find her doing very often is sitting still or watching TV...
She is a little busy body or shall I say little slow body because while she is always on the go either playing or getting her sneaky self into trouble...it's just in her own slow Zoe time. If you've ever been around her, then you know she takes her sweet time to get wherever she's headed and loves to soak up her scenery...she just may turn out to be our free spirited wanderer :). Daniel and I love how "full of life" she is...
She is constantly singing whatever tune is on her heart, she loves to shake her bon bon, she loves to smile and giggle, she absolutely loves to snuggle, she loves to play, play, play, she loves to give kisses, she seriously loves her daddy...she basically just loves to enjoy life!
Of course in true Clayton style, we had to celebrate our little lady turning 2 in the hospital during Max's surgery stay. Zoe has always been a flexible, just roll with it kind of gal so she didn't mind one bit as long as she got her cake...haha!
What a blessing she is to all of us and what a joy to celebrate her birth and God's guidance to our family!
Her name, Zoe, fits her so well because she definitely brings so much "life" to our home and our hearts!
We can't seem to get enough of our infectious, joyful two year old!

  1. I love all of the pictures & of course several of them I have seen before, but I had not seen the one of her dressed up in her tutu talking on the phone with all of her accessories. Her look & that attitude is hilarious! We can't wait to celebrate with her this weekend :)
