Spooktacular Countdown...

Every year, Kason and I count down to Halloween. He either participates in an activity like reading spooky stories, sing songs, play games, watching scary kid movies, carve pumpkins...
or he gets a special treat like his Frankenstein mask!
This year, Kason and I decided to have a party with a few of his friends. He had so much fun helping me plan all the details from the food, to the games, to who we invited...which he was specific about it only be a guys party.
Kason decided to have mummy wraps, Jack-o-Lantern poop, graveyard dessert, and frankenstein drinks!
We even rolled up our napkins so our vampire fangs could hold them in place!
One of his friends unfortunately was sick the day of the party, but his other two friends came and had a blast together! Jayton, Ryan, and Kason have been in bible class and Superkids together until this year, so they are the best of buddies! I mean, can you tell?!?
Besides the food, the other goal of the party was to play, play, play! I scattered skeleton bones around the backyard and the guys had to find them and put the skeleton back together...
They played with slime, got Halloween tattoos, and of course they couldn't leave without a little glow in the dark claws or fangs :)...
My little Frankenstein filled this month with a lot of spooktacular fun!
Max and Zoe never knew who was going to jump out of a closet or creep upon them like a black cat...
for a few tickles! Both Kason and I look forward to these little guys joining in on the Halloween fun a bit more next year...
The final day of our countdown was trick-or-treating on Halloween...so stay tuned to see what these cute little pumpkins dressed up as!
