Camp Chaos: Part 1

When Aunt Shaye had Miss Sadie and provided my munchkins with a cousin, I told her right away that we were going to spend a week together every summer. We were so excited to begin with the First Annual Camp Chaos in Frisco at Aunt Shaye's house last week!
Each day of cousin camp, we had one big "adventure" that all the cousins participated in. The first day we went to the zoo and met up with one of my sweet friends Joni and her daughters, Addy and Ellie.
You may remember Addy from her time spent around our house when they lived in Lubbock. These two little guys are good friends and were pumped to have a chance to spend the day together...
My mom actually came down for the night to watch Max for me because I thought the zoo might be too much of a challenge for him. As for little lady, she had fun hanging out in the stroller taking a few peeks at the animals...
while Sadie was trying to constantly break out of her stroller! Sadie is at the fun go-go-go stage and just wanted to check everything out all by her little self :).
The big kids ran around and were enthralled trying to point out all the animals that they knew!
I have been wanting to take Kason to the Ft. Worth Zoo for awhile now and I must say I wasn't disappointed one bit. The kids had a lot of fun reconnecting...
while us mommas had more fun chatting watching the little guys play in pure excitement. As I said earlier, everyday we had a planned activity and then we would spend the rest of the day hanging out at Aunt Shaye's house. Kason especially loved this time because while the babies napped, he got to cozy up and watch a movie in their media room...
I think one of the best parts of the trip is that we spent almost all of the kids' awake time outside. Aunt Shaye has a great porte cochere area where she could close the gate and let the munchkins run around like crazy. They rode bikes, played in the wagon and water table, we even brought Max out in the exercauser...
Another fun treat for Kason and Sadie was that Aunt Shaye surprised them with popsicles!
What better way to cool off in the summer heat? Of course we couldn't go to Aunt Shaye's without visiting her most favorite place, The Double Dip...
Camp Chaos was definitely a big hit and something to look forward to every summer! Stay tuned to Part 2 coming tomorrow with more pictures of all our chaotic cousin fun!
