The Happiest Place on Earth...

We are kind of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Junkies around our home, so little man was just slightly excited that his 4th birthday present were tickets to Disneyland! Since we stayed in San Diego, we drove up early Friday morning and started Kason's day off with...
He was beaming the entire way in the car, but then became ecstatic when he saw Mickey and his friends at breakfast!
Kason met Mickey, Daisy, Stitch, Goofy, and Minnie...
while feasting on Mickey Mouse pancakes and waffles, dancing to a silly song with Goofy, and celebrating Kason turning four with the wait staff singing him Happy Birthday...
Then we headed over to the main event...Disneyland Adventure Park! Daniel and I chose to take Kason to the Adventure Park side rather than the traditional Disneyland park because they recently opened Cars Land which is one of Kason's all time favorite movies :).
Can I just say Disney is phenomenal?!? It was like we walked right into Radiator Springs. The designers didn't miss a single detail from rides to refreshments, to shopping...it was amazing and oh-so fun!
Kason road Luigi's Flying Tires, Mator's Junkyard Jamboree...
but our most favorite was the Radiator Springs Racers (which is Cars Land's biggest attraction). Towards the end of the ride we got to race one of the other cars and Kason fell in LOVE with going super fast. He started smiling, laughing, and screaming once we hit high speeds and started going over bumps and turns :)...he is our little adrenaline junky in training. Kason was also super pumped to meet Tomator himself...
After hitting Cars Land first off that morning, we enjoyed the rest of the day walking around the park trying to do as many rides as possible.
Daniel and I did learn some important lessons about Kason: Any rides in the dark are scary, but if it is outside then the higher and faster...the better! This little guy seriously LOVED him some roller coaster rides!
Although he did really enjoy the simpler, more classic rides at amusement parks as well like the swings and Ferris Wheel...
Of course he flipped when he got to meet Woody because we are are in a Toy Story stage right now :)...
To cool off a little from the sun later in the afternoon, we went to Disney Junior Live on Stage to see all his favorite characters he watches in the mornings with Emma...
While Kason enjoyed the entire show, I think he was most excited to see Jake and the Neverland Pirates...
After that, we stumbled across a different adventure that we heard was worth a shot...
Boy was it worth it! We got to walk over nets up high in the trees...
climb through tree logs, slide down a rock slide, climb a rock wall...
 but Kason's most favorite...
was the zip line! That kid flew so fast down that thing, I was sure he wasn't going to be able to hold on...but have no fear, he was a champ at it grinning from ear to ear. I'm telling you...I think we have a little adrenaline junky on our hands :)! Before we left the park, we crowded around for the parade...
which of course keeping in theme with Disney, was simply amazing.
We all three enjoyed the singing, dancing, and special effects Disney created not only in the parade, but the entire theme park. Before we left, Kason got to go shopping in the massive Disney store...
where his grand prize souvenir was, drum roll please...
a Woody doll! Wow...what a day we shared together! It was by far one of the best days Daniel and I have spent with Kason. All three of us couldn't stop smiling, laughing, and holding hands as we walked around the park creating an incredible memory. Of course we were all beat from our day of fun...
but wouldn't have changed anything about this special moment with little man...except maybe creating another special trip a few years from now when we take all three to the other Magical World to not only meet a certain mouse, but a few pretty princesses too :)!
