Little lady turned 8 months and isn't she just fabulous?

 I love, love, love those big brown eyes...her happy disposition...well, just pretty much everything about her! She officially started crawling at 7 1/2 months, but wasn't too eager to crawl all over the house until about two weeks ago. 

Miss Zoe also started pulling up at 7 1/2 months when she started crawling, but in the past few days has decided to teach herself how to cruise! She can only do about two-three steps right now, but she is working hard at it :). Missy has also recently started to try standing by herself without holding on to anything! 

Little lady can hardly wait for eating time now that she is completely on table food and feeding herself most meals. She cracks me up because her most favorite food is guacamole! We have noticed the more flavorful, the more excited she is about eating. We recently started working on sign language with her and she thinks we are just being silly so she just laughs. We also started working on waving and clapping...she actually has her "style" of waving down and it is hilarious! She throws her head back and to the side while peaking at you through her lashes then scrunches her fingers in and out...a pic is a must so hopefully I'll catch one soon. What I'm loving about Zoe right now is her trying out a variety of facial expressions...

while a smile is her most consistent one, we are also graced with pouty lip (as seen above), pursed lips when she isn't getting her way (yes, already a bit sassy), and maybe the funniest is when she looks like a grandma with her lips sucked in and her oh-so kissable chipmunk cheeks pooching out! Miss Zoe is growing fast and will truly be a little lady before we know it! But for right now, isn't she simply lovely?
