Double Trouble...

When you have Zoe and Max around...it is definitely double the pleasure, double the fun! Around our house we refer to them as the "babies" because even though Max is two, he is developmentally right around the same age as Zoe...so it is similar to having twins. Every Tuesday and Thursday after we drop off Kason at preschool, I get the joy of hanging out with this double trouble crew...
You will often seen these two hanging out playing together on the floor like this! They love to be around each other and get excited to have playtime on the floor together. Their personalities are so different: it's laid back mr. man meets social butterfly diva, but don't let it fool you...when it comes to toys...all is fair game!
This is a scenario that is played out on a regular basis...one of the babies are playing with a toy, while the other one starts to eye it...
Then the other one is like, "oh no buddy, this is my toy territory"...but before you know it...
it is war!!! That is right...these two love to fight over toys, steal from one another, and every so often they will share...unknowingly that is :). The most recent activity Zoe enjoys is giving Max's long locks a good yank when he gets close...she laughs like crazy and holds on for dear life while we have to strip her hands away and before you can finish, Max starts to cry. It is one of those hilariously sad moments if you know what I mean...on one hand, you love they are interacting with each other, but on the other hand it is the saddest cry that is nearly breaks your heart. Unfortunately, I am thinking this is just a sneak peak into our future!
While there are definitely chaotic moments abounding daily, it is all worth it to see the love and friendship developing between the two "babies" in our lives!
We've somehow made going to all our doctor appointments and therapy appointments on Tuesday and Thursdays still delightful...
because everyone is charmed by Mr. Man and Little Lady...including me! I love having a few spare moments between appointments to sneak in some mommy playtime and snuggles with this double trouble joyful crew!

  1. Love the pictures of them in their car seats. Max looks handsome as Mr. Preppy & Zoe looks like a winter diva! I hope you are enjoying your new stroller.
