North Pole Breakfast...

This morning, one of our favorite visitors flew in from the North Pole to hang out with our little elves for the month...
Donner the Elf snuck in while everyone was sleeping and got everything ready for our annual North Pole Breakfast!
Before we enjoyed Donner's scrumptiousness, all five of us snuggled in our bed and watched "The Elf Story"!
Two of our favorite little elves, Miss Zoe...
and Mr. Max...
hung out in the kitchen with us while Daniel and Kason made the pancakes. I sat out all the toppings for us to make Santa face pancakes...
and thanks to a little help from Daddy, they turned out quite adorable!
We had to read the Elf Story in addition to watching the movie to remind us again why we can't touch, hit, push, twirl, destroy, relocate...you know, every verb possible going through a 3 year old boy's mind scheming tricks with Donner! He kept cracking us up because he didn't quite get the magical part of Donner...he kept looking at him like he was just a stuffed animal. Kason told us "Hmmm...we need to turn him on at night so he can fly home." I proceeded to explain, yet again, that his magical powers helped him fly to the North Pole while we slept. He responded with, "No...Santa will just take him when he comes!" Love this little kid's mind! After an excitement filled morning with our favorite visitor, the babies were zonked...
especially Maxers! This is one of my favorite things, the way he kicks his feet out when he snoozes...too precious! Sorry, I digress...these little elves just get me distracted from all their cuteness! Back on track...the Clayton Crew is looking forward to seeing what the sneaky Donner has up his sleeve for us the next couple of weeks as we count down to Christmas!
