The Clayton Crew escaped to Conroe for Easter weekend to see the Maddux family. The weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed a relaxing few days visiting, eating really well, and catching a few rays on the hammock!
The guys were able to sneak away and play a couple rounds of golf...
These great men even let the newest little golfer tag along for nine holes...
Kason has fallen in love with golfing...
As you can see, he adores his new golf glove and he wears it all the time...no, I'm not kidding...I mean he eats, sleeps, and plays in it...you know, just in case someone asks him to go play a round he wants to be ready! Kason also had a great time dying Easter eggs with Mimi...
and even enjoyed eating an Easter bunny for breakfast that I made him...
On Saturday, the Pickles (family friends) came over for dinner and surprised Kason with a bouncy house! Aunt Shaye, Doc, and I had a lot of fun jumping, tackling, and tickling with our little man...
You may be wondering what Max was up to all weekend...
he played in his favorite place along with hanging out on family's laps...
Of course both boys were spoiled rotten by the "Easter Bunny"...aka...Mimi and Doc, Nana and Pops! They both received new beach towels and Under Armour outfits...
It was imperative for Kason to change right away into his new clothes before his egg hunt...
This Easter seemed more precious this year because not only did all four of us get to be together (Max was in the NICU last year), but we also were able to spend it with our new favorite cousin, Miss Sadie Kate...
Isn't she just darlin? I know Mimi and Doc were over joyed to have all three grandkids together at their house for the first time...
Mimi and Doc's house was an instant success not just because of all the fun happening around there, but also because of the loads of love they extend to us all!
