Today is a gorgeous day to be outside and the college students celebrated by having a picnic after church!
Max and I gathered sandwich materials and baked cookies this morning then laid out the spread in the back of my car for the students to load up on...
It was Max's first big outing and you may be wondering where he hung out...
in the car since he is still home bound...but he was able to experience a gentle breeze, fresh air, and the beautiful sun! As you can see in the pic, we are going to be using a sun and bug car seat canopy to protect from others touching him, but there is a netting that you can see him through. This was his first time using it and did really well! As for the rest of us, well we basked in the sun while enjoying great conversation...
it doesn't get much better for him...running and playing outdoors among friends...plus there was a dog to chase! We are loving these warm days that are beginning to creep in and can't wait for more outdoor fun in the sun!
