Max just wanted to say "holla" to everyone and let you know that he is doing great. His endoscopic third ventriculostomy (official surgery name) went well this morning in regards to immediately relieving pressure and fluid from the brain. Unfortunately, our doctor said that everything looked worse than he originally thought and therefore will most likely have to put a shunt in. Max is going to have another MRI in a few weeks and we will go from there on what step to take next. As of right now, he is zonked out in the PICU and oh so adorable...even with a few stitches. We will be in the hospital through the weekend and then I'm positive we can all make a jail break run for it by Monday :)! Thanks again for all of our prayer warrior friends lifting our little fighter up for us...we love you and appreciate you more than you know.
