Little Man...

is such a big boy now...literally! Kason is ranking in the 80th percentile in height...the growth chart predicts that he will be over 6 foot!!!
He is in the 70th percentile for his weight, weighing in at 30 pounds...wow...I am still amazed...he has come a long way from 3 pounds at birth!!!
Kason is completely caught up developmentally and is like every other wiggly, giggly toddler!
He is using simple sentences, asking questions, will help you out with anything (throws away trash, puts his cup in the sink, clean his spot at the table, wipes his face, pretty much anything you ask...within reason that is!), enjoys making trades (you can get him to trade anything with you if there is something you are trying to get away from him...like scissors that his fast pinchers grab!), loves climbing, has the occasional no...whine...or temper tantrum, still cuddles, likes to hold hands during prayer, can count to 10 with a little assistance, absolutely LOVES outside...
but I think our most favorite things he does right now is pretend to read (yes, he actually uses gibberish while throwing in words you can understand...it is so cute) and singing which is just precious. You know he is singing because his voice will go higher in pitch, or he begins to clap his hands (he loves bible songs from school), or he will repeat sounds and words.
Daniel and I love viewing life through "Kason eyes"...we can't help but smile at how little kids see the world. Kason is helping us enjoy the simpler things in life. It is refreshing the joy that he brings to our life by his excitement for the littlest things like taking a walk and discovering nature, learning his ABC's/colors/numbers/shapes, or just playing with a stick!
Our little man continues to brighten up our home and is encouraging us more than he will ever know through his grins and giggles during this tough transition of Max not being at home. We can't wait to see how amazing he is going to be as a big brother!
