Thursday evening, we loaded up Kason and went with some friends to Jason's Pumpkin Patch (one of our college student's family has some land in a small town around Lubbock who just happen to have pumpkins every year). They were so gracious to let us come out and have fun picking pumpkins right out of the field.
We all had a great time sifting through the patch looking for just the right pumpkin, but I think Kason had the most fun because everywhere he looked he saw two of his favorite toys...
sticks and dirt! He also had fun playing with "Puppy Dog" as he says, or shouts rather! It was hilarious because he kept trying to grab the dog's tongue...he isn't used to a dog's tongue hanging out and he just couldn't get over his curiosity.
All the kids took turns taking a ride on the 4-wheeler, but Kason was too interested in trying to figure out how to drive it...
I guess watch out world for whenever this crazy guys is let loose in powered machinery!
Kason loves spending time with his friends: Luke, Kelsey, Kyle, Grace, and Katy Beth...they are so good with him. Katy Beth read to him, fed him a snack, and played with him the whole ride to the Pumpkin Patch. I must admit though, that my favorite pumpkin is still this adorable little man...
