It's Official...

we are homeless! Well, actually only for a few days...we are super excited to be able to move into our new house by the weekend (unlike the original plans where we were going to be homeless for weeks). We worked real hard this weekend and were able to get everything out and cleaned up...we definitely couldn't do it without the help of friends and our little helper...you can see how determined he was to help! While we are really excited to move into our new home, we are still sad to leave our first home. I am still baffled at how I am going to top the amazing mural that Daniel and a friend of ours painted for Kason's nursery... This is only a glimpse- they painted the entire room this beautiful. I know...I know...I will figure something out, but that is some steep competition! One of the major reasons Daniel and I are sad to leave is because this is our very first home. We built this home nearly 6 years ago and if you look closely in the picture, you can see D heart N where Daniel carved this memento when the foundation was poured. In addition to this being our first home, this was also where we had our first kid.
While we have many joyful memories in our first home, we look forward to creating even more in our new home...so join us in our journey as we transform our fixer-upper into the Clayton Home of Laughter!!!
