Family Sleep Over

Thursday was family fun night when Daniel and I had a sleep over with Kason at the hospital. We started our evening with being trained about his apnea monitor he is taking home along with an overload of information about how to care for him. Then Daniel and I decided to enjoy a delicious dinner for two at Outback, bypassing the scrumptious hospital food! When we returned to the hospital, we got to steal Kason away from the nurses to enjoy an evening together as a family in a private room next to NICU so we could practice taking care of him. The evening wasn't as aweful as we have heard about. We were just so excited to get to take care of him all by ourselves...like real parents! Of course we did not have as restful of a night as we have had at home, but enjoyed every moment of caring for him!

  7. We are so excited that Kason is home and doing well. Hope the two of you are able to get a little rest. You are probably still on cloud nine and haven't noticed being tired yet. Take care and we hope to meet Kason in person someday. Love, The Davis'
