Kickin' off the Summer...

We moved right at the end of school, so I didn't do my usual all out summer kick off...but we did get a few fun moments in! We went to this incredible nursery to buy a few flowers for the house and the place was all kinds of enjoyable.
Kason and Zoe loved the butterfly garden where butterflies were everywhere!
We saw several of them landing on flowers. They also enjoyed the labyrinth and swing.
Since we live so close to San Marcos now, we took a quick day trip to swim at the river. Our group is a little young to float the river yet, but we found this really neat spot for them to swim.
After swimming, we wondered around Gruene and enjoyed dinner outdoors.
The kids have really enjoyed playing around the house. We are at the end of our street, so they have been riding their bikes like crazy! Plus, when I can't find them, I just look to the field next to us where they are usually covered in dirt :).
We've spent some time exploring the area of town near us. Of course finding a park and Amy's ice cream is key, haha!
The kids have been begging to try out Aquabeads, so we picked up a set for them to play with while I unpacked.
They sure love them some crafts...just like their momma! Daniel surprised the kids with water guns the official first day of summer...
So even though I didn't make a big hoopla out of school being out for summer, these cuties still had a great start!
