Our favorite little gladiator turned 4 yesterday!!!
Mr. Max has fought so hard to be here and no matter what obstacles lie ahead, his infectious smile and joyous spirit are constantly with him.
Daniel and I can't even put into words how proud we are of him.
When encountering him, you will often see his arm stretched out like he wants to tell you a secret...as he pulls you near and tugs on your heart strings, his wants are simple: only to play with him...
or maybe, just maybe sing his favorite song :).
So in true Clayton fashion, we celebrated by decorating the house...made a cookie cake because Kason was adamant Max needed a candle to blow out...
and we spent the whole day doing all things Max like playing outside, singing, dancing, shaking rattles, giggling...
The other two rascals even helped him blow out the candles :)!
What an honor to be Max's mom and have the ability to celebrate him and God's faithfulness!
I'm already looking forward to a new year with Max to not just see the ways he continues to grow and develop, but to spend another year learning from him...another year of holding a joyful soul who loves without boundaries. Happy 4th Birthday Maxers!!!
