This year I had to get a little creative for our favorite Maxer's birthday party. I knew I didn't want to throw a big party since his entourage is quite small...you know, basically just family and his nurse :). Therefore, we decided to have a night of family fun tailored to what Max loves the most. Kason and I decided to get the party started after nap time by draping some streamers, we blew up balloons, and turned on dance music...which Max actually loves. In fact, he even bobs his head to the music when its turned on! Kason and Zoe even got on the ground with Max to show him how to crawl through the streamers...
which of course he LOVED!
He actually kept crawling back and forth between both rooms just giggling! What kids don't love balloons? Well, Max is no exception...
he couldn't stop himself from batting them! We even had to leave them out for a few days so he could hit and chase them around the house...
I must confess that my pictures are blurry and a little out of focus because I was having too much fun singing, dancing, and playing with the kids to care how the pictures turned out. A HUGE thank you to big brother for making this celebration so special for his little brother...
I'm not sure how many times Kason sang Happy Birthday to Max that day! Once Dad got home from work, we ordered pizza since that went along with the party atmosphere which was followed by the main event...

Two of Max's favorites are playing in the bath with Kason & Zoe...and all things that light up. Therefore, we had glow sticks, glow necklaces, glow balloons, and glow paint...
for a lights out party. The whole Clayton Crew had a blast celebrating Mr. Max turning 3 and are tickled to be able to share another year of memories with him!
Looks like fun! I wish Sadie & Sophie could have partied with Max too :)
