Sugar and Spice...

is most definitely what this little lady is made of! She is sweet as sugar with those gorgeous brown eyes and ever present smile...
but will throw around her share of Miss Sassy Pants with us thanks to all her silly faces...
Little lady absolutely LOVES to flirt with everyone...
which just makes me giggle followed by an "Oh-no...what have we gotten ourselves into! We may have to keep her on house arrest through her teen years :)!"
Zoe is now an 11 month old and inching closer to her big first birthday everyday. She is just too lovable and so much fun to add into our mix of crazy around here. She adores both brothers, but has begun verbalizing like crazy. She will say mama, dada, and bubba all on her own...but repeats us like crazy for more, all done, love you, and hey. My most favorite is when Kason starts to bug her, she looks at him and says "no" real firm with a scowl...it is hilarious! I'm afraid Kason has met his match and it should get interesting from here on out because I have a feeling Miss Sassy Pants can hold her own! Zoe isn't too interested in walking right now because she can get around fast enough crawling, but she does cruise around furniture and just loves to stand all on her own without even pulling up...
She is doing great with signing more and all done for us while eating. She waves bye-bye and is trying real hard to figure out the whole blowing kisses thing...she has the noise down, but doesn't always get her hand to her mouth fast enough. With our new nurse for Max, Zoe and I have been going to church (even class) every Sunday which is a huge blessing in our family's life. Little lady isn't too crazy about being dropped off at class, but is finally not crying any more when I leave her. She seems to really enjoy worship, but is completely worn out by the time we get to the car...
I'm not sure there is anything more precious than sweet faces sleeping soundly :). Zoe has also loved being outdoors all summer, especially when I walk her and Kason to the park.
I can't seem to express enough how much we adore this little lady! She lights up our whole house whether it be from her infectious giggle to her sassy funny face to her hilarious scowl or to her famous snuggly hugs that she loves to give...whether sugar or spice, she will forever be a blessing beyond what she will ever comprehend!

  1. Did you finally put in Sadie's old earrings? I thought I noticed them in one of the pictures. They look good! Also, it sounds like she is speaking more than Sadie these days - maybe she can teach my daughter a thing or two :)
