A few weeks ago, we were invited to our first Crab Boil! To be honest, I'm not much of a seafood eater, but I have heard how much fun crab boils are...so I could hardly wait to participate in some crackin' action! (Plus I had fun doing all of the designs!)
My fabulous sister-in-law, Michelle, threw the party for her husband Daniel...who is known as DB around our house so the kids don't confuse him with daddy :). Kason seriously loves him some DB, so he could hardly wait to party with him!
We dropped by after one of Kason's Tball games (hence the outfit) and he had a blast playing croquet with the other kids. It was fun for us to meet some close friends of Daniel and Michelle's that we have heard about before and to finally put a few faces to names.
Little lady of course soaked up all the attention which seems to be one of her favorite past times...
but could hardly wait to get her hands on some food!
As you can see, she wasn't very patient with Daniel so she thought he might need some help...
Kason on the other hand was too consumed with the corn on the cob and wasn't sure what to think about the crab legs. The rest of the group jumped on in with a lot of great conversation...
a lot of laughter...
and of course a lot of crackin' action...
We wish DB a very happy birthday...
and already can't wait for our next Crackin' Crab Boil with the Simmons!
