Clayton Family Christmas...

When we returned home from Christmas, we were greeted by a fabulous gift...Nana and Pops! We re-created Christmas Eve with a Mexican feast and a few party games! First up, I read the right/left version of The Night Before Christmas where everyone had to pass their gift right and then left whenever I read the words...
It gets a bit confusing and a whole lot of fun! At the end, you open up your gift to see what you got...which were gift cards for different amounts to various places. One lucky person was awarded the best gift of all...
Hahaha...thanks for being a good sport DB! After that, Kason could hardly wait to bust out the Squirrel game his Mimi and Doc gave him for Christmas...
Kason was beaming with joy while everyone played a few rounds with him. The next morning was our Clayton Christmas and in Kason style, he helped everyone open their gifts...
We even had a little "Happy, Happy, Happy" action going on with some Duck Commander paraphernalia!
As Uncle Si would say, "Hey!" Oh-yes friends...Daniel, Louis, and I love us some Duck Dynasty!!! Unfortunately his and her duck calls were sold out or Louis would have got us some for Christmas...bummer! I have so enjoyed every year watching the kids play with all their goodies they received and this year has been especially fun to watch Kason receive multiple projects to work on with Daddy...
Miss Zoe was loved on by everyone and soaked up every moment she could...
As for Max, well he played hard...so much so, that I caught the sneaky little guy dumping out Kason's tool box to find a few toys for himself to play with...
I'm loving how much Kason has been into books lately! We have created a reading nook in his room and he was gifted several this year to add to his collection. But, not much beats sitting in grandma's lap exploring literature together...

The Clayton Crew had an amazing Christmas week long celebration and loved every moment of it! The only sad part is with the holiday coming to an end, we had to say our goodbyes to family and daddy has to return to work. Is it alright if we are already looking ahead to our next celebration with family? Before we know it, the boys' birthdays will be here and we will gather again for some more fun...can't wait!
