How Can This Be?

Mr. Max is getting close to 2 years old! He is 20 months now and is even more adorable than should be possible...
He is an extremely laid back kid who rocks his smile! Our entire family is having loads of fun with him and loving that he is finally starting to develop...
but are sad to report that Maxers is still having trouble with being medically fragile. He has been having difficulty with his nutrition again and is still losing weight, so after our much loved doctor visits and tests, we are trying yet again a different formula that is higher calorie along with extending his feeds to 15 hours to help his digestive system. Hopefully this will help Max feel better so he can still wiggle on over to play with sister...
We also went to the pulmonologist this week and were told it is time to go back into lock down. While the Clayton Crew is a little bummed because we have so enjoyed our few outings out as a family...
we understand how important it is to keep our favorite love bug isolated to lower his risk of getting sick. Our doctor wasn't too happy with the progress of Max's BPD (lung disease) and almost put him back on oxygen throughout the day for continuous oxygen therapy rather than just nightly...but thankfully she trusts me to keep him on when it is needed in the day. If you are ever on our side of town, be sure to stop on by to say hi to this precious little guy because he is going to be sad to have fewer people to charm with his adorable smile!
