Turkey Day 2012...

What could be better than spending the day with this little pumpkin...
or this adorable little turkey?
The Clayton Crew had a fantastic Thanksgiving! We were blessed to spend the day with really great company: Nana and Pops...
All of us enjoyed a day of watching the parade, tossing around the football, making turkey day crafts...
like this fun puppet! We also enjoyed making cinnamon crisps with left over pie crust thanks to Nana...
and of course we can't leave out the seriously good food! We had a couple of dips to snack on...
before the feast!
This holiday I decided to make a little more low key so we could show case Kason's fabulous turkey centerpiece...
Since we were all about turkeys, Kason just had to have a turkey drink...
And yes friends, I was the torturous mother who made their kids take the dreaded sibling picture!
As you can tell, Max wasn't too happy with me...what can I say...I was just too excited to be home with my boys! The torture ended soon enough with Maxers passing out...
After all the gobbling, Daniel and I wobbled down to the hospital with Max late last night because we were concerned he was getting too dehydrated. We met up with our neurosurgeon and he decided that Mr. Max needed the shunt, so he operated on him around 1:00 am this morning. Max is doing great, just resting today and is slowly eating better. Even though we were sad that Max had to be operated on again, we are so thankful that he will now have permanent relief. Even after an eventful Thanksgiving, Daniel and I are so thankful to share our days with our adorable boys...God is good!
