This handsome little fella had tubes put in early this morning and is doing great! The surgery went well- the nurses said that Kason made sure he never lost his binkie once! Sure enough, when we came around the corner to see him, it was still in his mouth! Kason has been playing all afternoon and evening...just smiling up a storm...you know his normal self...unlike this morning. When he was waking up from the surgery he was a little bit of a grizzly bear and cried or rather screamed at some points I should say for a couple of hours. After some food, milk, and a good long nap (oh...how we all know about Kason lovin' his food and sleep) he woke in a good mood. We keep laughing because at times he is a little out of balance and falls over for no reason, but he is entertaining himself with all these boxes we still have around the house!*I was nice to Kason today and didn't bombard him with the camera...I decided that I do not have to document every moment with a picture and I would give him some space. So I put down the camera (I know- shocker!) and replaced it with his blanket and binkie, then cuddled with my chunky monkey! Speaking of chunk...I forgot to mention that he is up to 24 pounds, 4 ounces...that is right...in just 14 months he has gained exactly 21 pounds!!!
Was thinking about you guys last night going to bed. Glad to heard that all went well yesterday.
