We started our new year with a bang-

in the emergency room! Yesterday morning Kason woke up croupy and ran a low grade fever all morning. Since the doctor's office was closed we had to take Kason to the ER. Kason is feeling much better but is pumped up on tons of medicine! They gave us an adorable Panda nebulizer for breathing treatments that Kason loves to smile at even though he HATES the treatments. Is that not the cutest? I heard him talking and moving around in bed, but didn't think anything of it until I raised my head when I heard him giggling. This is the first time he has ever pulled up in his bed so I jumped up like a crazy woman and ran to get the camera. By the time I got back I saw this...

Yep, he sure loves to taste everything! Kason definitely felt better today and acted like an overcharged Energizer bunny. He is extremely active and wiggly on a daily basis, but Daniel and I have never seen anything like him. He was everywhere!!! We think the steroids must have put him in overdrive. Two times today we had to take him on a drive around the neighborhood to help him fall asleep and if you know Kason...that is unusual. He loves to sleep and will almost always put himself to sleep once he is laid down in his bed. Therefore, I am wondering how tomorrow will turn out, I think we will have another interesting day!
