Christmas Festivities...

Our holiday season has started off with some real fun! Last night, we took Kason to a neighborhood that had a light show timed with music and fake snow! (You must look real close at the next picture to actually notice the snow.)
We met Aunt Michelle and Cousin Allison there who did a good job of keeping Kason toasty...
Aunt Michelle was even sweet enough to warm up Kason's ice cold hands...
Even though we were all a little chilly, it was fun to enjoy the Christmas weather all bundled up. Speaking of chilly, Kason was excited to see the following...
a giant, fuzzy snowman! One of Kason's new words is "snowman" so he was super excited and even had a hard time leaving him because he was fascinated by how soft it was. To add to the holiday spirit this weekend, we enjoyed a Maddux Family Tradition...decorating sugar cookies with our college students!
Daddy helped Kason decorate (and eat might I add!) his very first Christmas sugar cookie. Kason really LOVED the sprinkles and we could barely take them out of his hands so he wouldn't shake the entire bottle on one cookie.
But of course, in true kid style, Kason's favorite part was licking the icing!
